What is Mr Manners?

Mr Manners is a light-hearted weekly (Thursday 6am UK-time) webcomic personifying manners, primarily illustrating a judgemental reactionary thought process upon perceiving a display of bad manners. It is intended to be tongue-in-cheek. The illustrations are not deliberately crude.

I do not claim to be an authority on good manners, though I do believe they go a long way.

My motivation for producing this comic is to improve my illustration skills through practice, make use of the Boogie Board Sync 9.7 LCD e-Writer (Amazon affiliate link)/(Product site link) which I purchased on a whim, and hopefully to build and entertain an audience of empathetic apologisers.

Positive Feedback and Constructive Criticism

You want to be happy don’t you?

You could try going for a walk, meditating, and listening to an audio-book on Neural Linguistic Programming, then Emotional Intelligence. Visit an art gallery, or theatre. Pick a scab. Do some Sudoku. Exercise. Eat no gluten. Lessen your sugar intake. Listen to early Radiohead. Learn a foreign language. Seek medical advice. Hug a loved one. Buy a cat. Buy a dog. Eat healthy food. Avoid stalking people on Facebook. Do more exercise. Get more natural sunlight. Avoid stalking people in real life. Join a cult. Get a different perspective on life. Don’t listen to anything by Radiohead after the year 2000. Don’t argue with people on the internet, thinking you can change their mind by being right or correct.
